My kid would never bully – as a parent is this what you would say about your children?
When bullying is happening, as a bystander, it is not easy to step in and help, especially for the first person to do it, however, once one student steps in often others will follow as they know that the bullying is wrong. If students can stand up together – the power of the bystander becomes significant and can shut the bullying down fast.
This video is part of a series of tests by NBC to see if students would step in and help a student being bullied or whether they would join in on the bullying. The focus here is on girls and their response to bullying.
What would your child do?
Do they understand the power of the bystander? Than rather than just watching…they can stand up and help.
